Before You Enter

Yes — a shower is required before entering any of our facilities, including the pool, cold plunges, cold barrels, saunas, Hammam, and steam room. We also ask that you shower between uses of different facilities. This is essential for the hygiene and comfort of all guests and ensures our equipment and water systems continue to function at the highest standard.

Please remove all makeup, body oils, and skincare products before entering the pools, saunas, ice baths, or any wet facilities. Residual products affect water quality and may cause discomfort to fellow guests.

Personal care products — including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash — are provided in the locker room showers and should only be used there. Outside essential oils, fragrances, and scents are not permitted in sauna heaters, kilns, or on sauna rocks.

General Etiquette

Please treat this space, and all those within it, with consideration and respect at all times.
We ask that noise be kept to a minimum. Loud conversations, yelling, and disruptive behaviour are not in keeping with the atmosphere we strive to maintain.
Phone usage is not permitted in our quiet areas. Please limit calls, music without headphones, and unnecessary screen time throughout the spa.
Kindly leave each area clean and tidy after use, ready for the next guest.

As a relaxation-centred space, we kindly ask that all mobile phones and electronic devices be silenced upon arrival. Phone usage is not permitted in our quiet areas out of respect for all guests who have come to rest and restore. Photography and video recording are strictly prohibited throughout all facilities and locker rooms.

Swimwear Policy

Appropriate swimwear is required at all times throughout the facilities. Gentlemen are required to wear swim shorts; ladies are required to wear a bikini or suitable swimsuit. Speedos, overly revealing attire, undergarments, and topless swimwear are not permitted.

Amo Spa is a welcoming and inclusive space for all guests. Amo Spa reserves the right to refuse access or remove any guest not in compliance with this policy.

Hygiene & Safety

Guests with open wounds, skin conditions, or any contagious illness are kindly asked to refrain from using communal facilities until fully recovered.
All guests use Amo Spa facilities at their own discretion. If you have any underlying medical conditions, we strongly recommend consulting your physician before your visit.
Please listen to your body, especially when engaging in hot and cold exposure therapies, and transition between temperatures with care.

Personal body care products may not be used at open showers, in pool areas, the Hammam, or saunas. They are welcome in the private locker room showers, which are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

Pool & Facilities Rules

Running and diving are strictly prohibited in all pool and wet facility areas.
Glass items of any kind are not permitted in bathhouse or pool areas.
All facilities are used entirely at your own risk.
Pets of any kind are not permitted on Amo Spa premises.

Smoking Policy

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside all bathhouse and spa facilities. A designated smoking area is available at the pool bar for those who wish to smoke. We respectfully ask that all guests honour this policy to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for everyone.

Privacy Policy

Photography and videography are strictly prohibited throughout all Amo Spa facilities, including locker rooms. This policy exists out of deep respect for the privacy and dignity of every guest. We kindly ask all visitors to refrain from using their phones for photos or video during their time in the spa.

Access & Conduct

Amo Spa is an adults-only facility.
Once you have checked in, re-entry is not permitted for any reason. Please ensure you have everything you need before entering.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed within the spa. Personal water bottles are a welcome exception.

Amo Spa reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any guest who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or substances. No refund will be issued in such circumstances.
Any form of harassment directed at Amo Spa staff or fellow guests will result in immediate removal from the premises without refund.
Excessive public displays of affection are not permitted within the spa environment.

For the safety of both mother and baby, we do not recommend use of any of our thermal facilities during pregnancy — including the sauna, steam room, hot pools, Hammam, and cold plunges. You are warmly welcome to enjoy our treatments, café, and retail areas.

Personal Belongings

Complimentary lockers are provided for the safe storage of your valuables, and we encourage all guests to make use of them. Amo Spa and its staff cannot be held responsible for any items that are lost, stolen, or damaged — whether stored in a locker or left unattended in any public area of AMO Centre Canggu.

Appointments

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. This gives you ample time to check in, settle in, and prepare for your experience. Guests booked for a massage treatment will be asked to complete a Client Detail Form so that our therapists can personalise your session to best serve your needs.

If you anticipate being late, please contact us as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate you. Late arrivals may result in your appointment being rescheduled. Where a treatment does proceed, service time will be reduced accordingly, with no reduction in the treatment tariff.

We warmly welcome group bookings. For parties of 3 or more treatment guests, or for couple packages, a 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation.

Cancellations with 24+ hours notice — eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
Cancellations or rescheduling 12–24 hours before the appointment — 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellations with less than 12 hours notice, and no-shows — no refund will be issued.

Payments & Gifts

We gladly accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. For bookings made within 3 days of the appointment date, Indonesian local bank transfer is required to ensure timely receipt of payment. International bank transfers typically take 3–7 business days to be received. For cash payments, please visit our reception desk.

All menu prices quoted are exclusive of the mandatory 15% tax and 5% service charge applicable in Indonesia. These charges are applied to all purchases. We display prices exclusive of tax and service, so please factor this into your budget when booking.

Gift cards are available for purchase at any value and can also be designated for specific treatments. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, and any unused balance expires 3 months from the date of purchase. Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced.

Gratuity is never expected, but always warmly appreciated. If you are pleased with the service provided by your therapist, you are most welcome to leave a gratuity. Please let our reception team know and we will ensure it is passed on directly.

Your satisfaction is important to us. Should you have any concerns, we ask that you bring them to our attention with your receipt and we will do everything within our means to address them in a timely manner. If a follow-up appointment is required, please book in advance so we may best attend to your needs. Cash refunds are not available.

Children & Families

We adore children and families — and we also deeply value the restorative atmosphere our guests seek. To honour both, the following guidelines apply:

Children and babies are not permitted upstairs or within the spa treatment areas, with the exception of the mani/pedi zone when booked for treatments.
Accompanied children are always welcome in our downstairs café area.
Body treatments are not available for children under the age of 12.
Foot massage treatments are not available for children under the age of 8.

Sauna Membership

By enrolling in the AMO Sauna Membership, you confirm that you are not aware of any medical conditions — including but not limited to heart conditions, respiratory concerns, or pregnancy — that may be aggravated by sauna use. It is your responsibility to ensure that sauna use is appropriate for your individual health.

AMO Spa shall not be held liable for any adverse health effects or medical complications arising from the use of sauna or thermal facilities. The assessment of personal suitability rests solely with the guest. Amo Spa does not accept responsibility for personal injuries or illnesses sustained during any visit to our facilities.

General Terms

Amo Spa's house rules, pricing, and facility access are subject to change at any time without prior notice. By entering the spa, all guests agree to abide by the current guidelines as set by management. We recommend confirming pricing and treatment details at the time of your appointment.

Bookings & Consultations

Yes — all new clients are required to have a doctor consultation prior to any treatment. This is not simply a formality; it is an essential step that allows our doctor to assess your skin health, medical history, suitability for treatment, and individual goals. Your treatment plan will be tailored specifically to you, ensuring the safest and most effective outcome possible.

Appointments can be made directly via our reception team, by phone, or through our online booking link. We recommend booking your consultation first, after which your doctor will schedule your treatment sessions. Walk-in consultations may be available subject to doctor availability, but a pre-booked appointment is always recommended to secure your preferred time.

Your initial consultation is a private, one-on-one appointment with our doctor. We will review your medical history, skin concerns, lifestyle, and aesthetic goals. The doctor will assess your skin in person and recommend a personalised treatment protocol. There is no obligation to proceed with treatment at the consultation — it is a space for you to ask questions, understand your options, and feel fully informed before making any decisions.

For group or package bookings of 3 or more treatments, a 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment.

Dermal fillers, by contrast, are used to restore volume, sculpt facial contours, and address structural concerns. Your doctor will advise which treatment, or combination of treatments, is most appropriate for your goals.

A course of 2–3 sessions is typically recommended, spaced 3–4 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results. Following the initial course, maintenance sessions every 4–6 months are advised to sustain the improvement. Your doctor will design a personalised treatment schedule based on your skin's specific needs and response.

Skinboosters are suitable for a wide range of clients experiencing dry, dull, dehydrated, or prematurely ageing skin. They are also popular as a preventative treatment for younger clients looking to maintain skin quality. As with all treatments at AMO Skin Clinic, suitability is confirmed during your doctor consultation. Skinboosters are not recommended for clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have certain autoimmune conditions.
